Creating an Internal Link

How to create a list of links to other pages within a website.

Adding the feature

  1. Click the "Site" tab to enter Site mode and click the page from the left that you wish to add the feature to.
  2. In the toolbar, press the Page Features button.
  3. Choose an area of the webpage (Left/Middle/Right tabs) for your feature to appear.
  4. Click the "Add Feature" button and choose "Internal Link" from the list of features.

If the Internal Link feature is not in the list, it most likely hasn't been enabled for use by an administrator. Contact Wholething for assistance.

Creating the link

  1. In the feature's properties, click the "Add Link" button
  2. A sitemap of your website will appear; use the '+' icons to navigate within pages then click on the name of the page you wish to link to.

The linked page will now appear in the list.

Removing internal links

To remove specific internal links from the feature:

  1. Go back to the feature's properties by clicking the Page Features button on the toolbar.
  2. Click the location of the feature (Left/Middle/Right tabs) to find it.
  3. Click the Edit Feature button next to the listed feature.
  4. Within Edit Feature mode, choose the links to delete by ticking the "Delete" checkbox by each link.
  5. Click the "Update" button below that list to update the list of links.

Links that were ticked to delete will be removed instantly from the list.

To delete the feature altogether, when in the Left/Middle/Right tab, tick the "Delete" checkbox next to the feature then press "Update".
